Dress Code: Jeans, No spagetti straps, halter tops, low cut shirts; keep respectable; boots - no tenneshoes, sandals, etc. Please see rules and policies for full detail. Helmets are optional

CASH ONLY ENTRIES AT THE SHOW W/CASH PAYOUT! Can pre enter with prepay. If prepay, non members get the member rate

No alcoholic beverages allowed! This is also due to insurance. If you are caught with alcohol (whether trying to hide in a cup, etc) you will be told to leave. There will be no refund of your entry fee and if you win money, this money is forfeited. This applies even if you have family members with you or friends with you drinking. Please be responsible.

Due to insurance requirements - All dogs must be kept on a leash and exhibitions are one at a time. There is no riding around in the arena while exhibitions are taking place and keep in forward motion.

NO DRAMA is allowed at the events. Please leave them at home, your barn, or at the gate. :) We are here to have some family filled, clean fun.

Please do not take the following personal, it is just me and how I work. When the show begins, only 1 more other person allowed in the announcer's stand with me, unless I call for one more. As you know, I multitask and to stay straight, I cannot think when I have a lot of other stuff going on in the background around me. I want a smooth, flowing show and that is what I aim for each month. This is a personal goal of mine. :)

NOTE FROM MELISSA -

Thank you everyone for coming out today. New buckle series members - please read the rules and policies above. Important for EVERYONE: First, EXHIBITIONS, please be aware that it is ONE at a time in the arena and keep in a forward motion so we can move exhibitions along, in a timely manner. You can circle one time around the barrels, do not keep circling. No riding around the arena, or working your horse in the arena, while exhibitions are going on. If anyone has concerns with this policy, please come to me. If you are slow working, and coming out of the 3rd barrel, please ride to the fence so next person can start. If running exhibition pattern, let the gate person know so you can run back and the gate person can hold the next person back so you can finish, coming back in straight line back to gate (hope that makes sense).

Next very important!!! Do not complain to the one working the exhibition gate. He or She is enforcing the rules that I told him or her. Please respect this and please remember, we are there to have Fun and have a family atmosphere where everyone can enjoy doing what we love to do. Any type of drama is Prohibited. Leave it at home or at the entrance gate. If leave at entrance gate, pick it up on your way out! We have a fun filled environment where everyone (whether beginner or professional) is friendly, helpful, supportive, etc.

Third, thank you to everyone who helped today. I could not have done it without you guys. Thank you Kathy Dickason, James Dickason, Brooke Bates, everyone who helped set barrels. Members: one thing I am changing in the rules (and for this year) is that for tie breakers, I am going to use volunteering and how much is done. You can get them by helping set barrels, working the exhibition gate; helping me in the office (if I need it. I will announce, if so. Y'all know I usually need to work alone, in the office, because I have a system to get it all done), helping water the alley way and getting other arena prep done, helping me hang banners. Wherever, I need help. Just ask.

Now, for today, please message me, if you helped set barrels. There were a couple I am not sure of who they were.

Oh, and also, for barrel setting, if you cannot set barrels, you can have someone set barrels for you.

Fourth, I will have the points posted up by Wednesday. I have to go through all the paperwork/membership forms and get everyone organized on the list so I know who to give points to. I will start working on all this Monday. Well I think that is it for now. Next buckle series is April 21st; however, the next Melissa's Good Timin Jackpot (it is a jackpot only) is on February 4th. Hope to see y'all there.

Thank you to all who helped: Nicole Blizzard for setting the 2nd barrel, David Gillett's son for setting the 3rd barrel, and James Dickason for dragging. If I am missing anyone else, please forgive me. Thank you Kathy Dickason for setting timers up, manning the office so I could attend church. Thank you David Gillett, with the Cowboys For Christ, for holding church for us this morning. Thank you to Wisty Watson for doing the concession stand and thank you to Samantha Weeks for driving up and taking everyone's pictures.
