The Florida Equine Athlete is now published in a paperback book, having an ISBN number and more. It is available on Amazon and no longer considered a periodical or magazine. 
The first edition of the paperback is with the March 2019 edition that went out to my online subscribers/members on February 28th. I am not going to upload every edition that has been done for the past 16 years but will start with this issue. If there are any issues you would like to see published, please email floridaequineathlete@gmail.com. If I have the original draft template, I can do it. 
The paperback form of the Florida Equine Athlete is good news for everyone involved with the FEA. 
Barrel Racing and Roping Producers can have more viewing access to their event dates promoting more attendance. Producers should get with me to get their flyer put in the book.
Now celebrating 16 years this year, here is to another growth of the Florida Equine Athlete.

This is how the Florida Equine Athlete started in 2004 (see history) on the home page.  


The Book contains the following:


  1. Various educational and informational articles to help spread the knowledge in different equestrian and/or barrel racing topics.  There are articles for Equine Nutrition, Training, Business aspects, Motivational topics, and Interviews.  Writers such as Dr. Juliet Getty, Ph.D (Equine Nutrition topics).; Dr. Melissa Greer, Ph.D (Business side).; Joyce Meyer (Christian Ministries; Gina McKnight (freelance writer with interviews);  Barbra Schulte (Cowgirl Hall of Fame inductee with motivational articles); Tina Spangler, TLC Barrel Horses (Barrel Horse Training); and Gus McGrae from Mississippi who writes articles on various subjects
  2. Barrel Racing Information sections for Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and OTHER states.  The FEA is the official publication for certain organizations and are included in the state section it is located in.  Also, Calendars with the Schedule of Events are in for each state that are 2 months ahead
  3. Roping Section - This is a work in progress as this section began in 2016.  This will also contain certain organizations and a Schedule of Events Calendar 2 months ahead.


​The Florida Equine Athlete began in 2004 and started with the magazine.  It is celebrating 20 years now (officially in June).
