July 27, 2008 - Byron Forehand Barrel Clinic @ K W Ranch Arena in Keystone Heights on July 27th at 8 AM. The clinic will be limited to only 10 horses; so book early!!! If you do not want to bring a horse and only watch and listen the fee will be $25.00 each person. For riders that are not familiar with Byron Forehand; he is a long time barrel racer here in Northeast Florida. He has raised, broke to ride, patterned and competed on many top winning barrel horses through the years. For more information on Byron; you can go to www.forehandbarrelhorses.com and see all his horses and his accomplishments. Byron; will sit down one on one and go over the basics of barrel racing, training your barrel horse and tuning your barrel horse. Then he will watch you with your horse; he will ride your horse and then he will help you with any problems you or your horse are having. Come to Byron's Clinic on July 27th and help you and your horse become the team you have always wanted to be.
We will be having a IBRA Jackpot on July 26th for anyone that wants to come a day early and ride the jackpot. You can camp out Saturday night and be here for he clinic on Sunday July 27th. CANCELLATIONS
The Florida Equine Polebenders Circuit scheduled June 7th - Southern District - at J & M Equestrian Park has been cancelled due to date conflicts.

River Ranch Rodeo - Every Saturday night - Lake Wales - Now a 2D 1/2 second split with $200 added; Call in before Thursday 5 pm at 863-692-1321 ext 40087; You can enter when you get there with a $10 late fee. Entry Booth closes at 6:30 pm; Full Dress Code.
First and Fourth Fridays of every month - 4D Barrel Race - M/C Arena in Moss Bluff (Ocklawaha) Exh 7 pm Show 8:30 pm; $200 added; Hubert & Cathy Martin 352-288-6950. Fees: $20 per horse, Exh $3 per go $5 arena fee per rider. Events: Polebending and time only exhibition runs after the jackpot. Signups allowed after start of the show. Great Concession. Except for July show - It will run on July 5th Saturday as the day before is a holiday. Exh 3 pm Show 6 pm.
Practice Night: Barrel & Pole Every Tuesday Starts 6 pm Fee $5 a person.

The sixteenth annual West Coast Regional Finals Rodeo returns to the South Point Equestrian Center May 9 and 10.
Cheer on the UNLV Rodeo Team as they go head to head with rival schools for qualification to the College National Finals.
The toughest livestock and best competition from California and Nevada make their fastest runs and roughest rides of the season. See students compete in nine different events including bull riding, steer wrestling, team roping and barrel racing.
Performances at the South Point Equestrian Center start May 9 and 10 at 7pm, and admission is $10 per person with children 12 and under free. Tickets are on sale soon.

From Montgomery & Wetumpka, AL - Take Hwy 31 off of Day Street north towards Prattville. Go to the light and take a left on to the Western By-pass. Follow Western Bypass approximately 4 miles; go through the light and over the railroad tracks. Take a right just past the railroad tracks to Old Selma Road. Go approximately 5 miles and turn left onto Cantelou Road. The arena is 400 yards on the left.
From Selma, AL - Take Hwy 80 to Montgomery. Go 1 mile past Pintlala Creek Bridge and turn left onto Cantelou Road. Go approximately 4 miles on the right. Arena will be on the corner of Cantelou and Old Selma Road.
From Prattville, AL - From Hwy 31 South go across the River Bridge and take a right at the light onto Hunter Loop Road. Go approximately 6 miles to the light and turn right onto Old Selma Road. Go approximately 4.5 miles. Turn left onto Cantelou Road. The arena is about 400 yards on the left.
From I-65 - Take Hwy 80 towards Selma. Go approximately 3 miles past Dannelly Field. Turn right onto Cantelou Road. Go approximately 4 miles. Arena will be on the right. Corner of Cantelou Road and Old Selma Road.
