**Suncoast Barrel Racers Association will be collecting "Toys for Tots" at the December 6th Futurity/Derby & Show.**
Amanda Brunkan will collect all donations (toys/cash/checks) at the end of the show & turn them in for us under Suncoast Barrel Racers
Association as the sponsor. This is another great way for us to show our support of our communities. Please dig in & help the
kids. With the current economy there will be hundreds/thousands of kids needing toys. If you can't make the show feel free to mail a

In State Events  (Be sure to call organizations before you drive to make sure the show is still on as I do no always hear from everyone when a show is cancelled or when information is changed. December 21, 2008 - SWFLC is having a Family Horse Show at the Collier County Fair Grounds Arena.  We will be having relays, speed events and a trail (Obstacle) Course and goat tying. We are looking for vendors to have for some last minute holiday shopping. I know that at the NBHA shows in Punta Gorda there was a purse lady and if anyone knows how to get a hold of her please give her my email or number. If anyone has a business or wants to put up a table to be a vendor please let me know ASAP so I can get you a space reserved. At the next practice at the fair grounds Nov 19th if you are a member or would like to be we will be having a quick meeting to discuss the Dec 20 show please come and join us. Practice starts at 5:30pm  signups start at 1:30pm this is open to anyone and everyone that has a horse and wants to come out and have some fun.  We are looking for vendors currently to have for shopping and browsing if you know of anyone please give them my email.  Our website is www.swflc.weebly.com this has the show bill info for everyone to see. All Sunday ropings begin at 9:00 am with church service.   All Sunday ropings are “followed by” format. No barrel race on Sunday, Roping starts20right after church.
NO CARD REQUIRED   All ropings, ropers can enter twice. Only highest placing counts towards year end awards. All ropings will pay one for every seven.
There will be high point buckles awarded at the end of each the winter & summer series.
In order to qualify for the Southeast Finals (barrel race & roping), you must buy a one-time $50 card ($10 for additional family members) and attend 5 ropings.
