Florida Equine Athlete

This publication is a subscriber based magazine and is dedicated to the barrels racers in the state of Florida to keep them informed of what is going on, especially in the State.  If you do not live in Florida, it is still beneficial to the ones that travel and compete in the state.  It contains information needed for all.  Some topics may not be included in every issue.  It is the one stop publication for Florida Barrel Racing.  As one subscriber stated, "It is the Florida Barrel Racers Bible, Everything is in it".

The Florida Equine Athlete is the official publication of NBHA 00, IBRA - Florida, Sunshine Barrel Racers Assn, and the WPRA SE Circuit (besides the official website and their newsletter).

* The Business Side of Things - I have completed my PhD and my dissertation was an exploratory, comparative study on women athletes and women business entrepreneurs. Women Barrel Racers were my target athlete.  Many topics can be relayed to my fellow barrel racers.  For example, sponsorships, sports tourism, and how to strategize this like business endeavor.  Seminars are also being developed to hold conferences with athletes and discuss the findings, entrepreneurial skills and strategies, and also developing sponsorship portfolios.

I want to thank everyone for the positive feedbacks received on this publication.  I enjoy writing, meeting people, racing, etc and this is my way of being able to put my education, talent, and skills to use and help others.  Thank you so much.

All the above are the main topics that are put in.  I try to do a variety of them each month to make it interesting.  In addition, all topics will not be in every issue because it would end up being about 100 pages.  Printing bill will skyrocket.  So, to keep the publication affordable, I will put in different articles each month.

HOWEVER, PLEASE NOTE:  That every issue will contain an extensive amount of event schedules happening around the state of Florida AND statistical information for most organizations like results and standings.  As one stated, "You want to know what is going on for barrel racing in the state, SEE this publication".
