IMPORTANT NOTE FROM TRACY

1/31/08

TO All YOUTHS:

Please designate on your entry cards whether you are youth or teen.  You are considered a youth if born on or after 1/1/95.  Anyone born before 1/1/95 is a teen. This will not change the payout at shows. It will allow me to award points in the right division in the youth.

Thank you for your help in this matter.

I forgot to put the following news in the October issue:

Anyone who wants to change to the 00 district may do so by September 30th unless it is due to a move.  No one is allowed to change districts during the last 90 days of the year.  If you have any questions, see the NBHA yearbook.

Important Information about STATE SHOW stated by Tracy Haberlandt for NBHA 00 Members:  THE FOLLOWING IS IMPORTANT FOR ALL NBHA MEMBERS TOO - If a member wants to participate in the state show in June, one must have competed in 3 shows in a 12 month period (from last state show in June - May of the following year). NBHA 00 NEWS

To District Members:

If you want to designate a show, please mark it CLEARLY on the card. Should you have any questions, call Tracy at 863 - 763-6613.

Important Information about STATE SHOW. This will benefit ALL NBHA members:

THE FOLLOWING IS IMPORTANT FOR ALL NBHA MEMBERS TOO - If a member wants to participate in the state show in June, one must have competed in 3 shows in a 12 month period (from last state show in June - May of the following year). NEW members have to have 3 shows from the time they joined to May.

This district is a flexible district provided to NBHA members to accommodate a lifestyle choice or who is involved in other organizations that prevent them from competing on a localized, district level.A member may not declare 00 and a regular district at the same time. A 00 member must sign a district change form designating them as a 00 member prior to Sept 30th. NO district changes are allowed during the last three months of the year. Only address changes are allowed.

It is a 00 member’s responsibility to write on the entry card whether or not to count their points. This is not the local district director’s responsibility. A maximum of 10 shows will count for each member. If a member designates a show for points, it will be counted even if they do not get points or hit a barrel. They cannot change their minds after entering.

All 00 cards are to be sent in to the 00 district director, Tracy Haberlandt, with the date, location, and fast times of EACH class. It does not have to be denoted how they placed or be responsible for anything other than collecting and mailing the entry cards.

00 members must abide by all NBHA rules as well as any local district or arena ground rules. The freedom and flexibility of the 00 district is a privilege and a courtesy. It is the responsiblity of the 00 members to inquire and understand about any rules prior to entering and must adapt to the rules of each district. A 00 member IS a valuable asset to the NBHA organization and has the right to question rules before entering. However, if you do not agree with the rules, please do not cause any misbehavior or disruption of the show. Exercise your right to leave that specific district event and compete at another. That is is the right of the 00 member.

The 00 member may review results, standings, and any other communication through the Florida Equine Athlete publication or Tracy Haberlandt, district director. If you should have any concerns or questions, please contact Tracy Haberlandt, 00 district director, at 863-763-6613 or send an email to tracyhaberlandt@hotmail.com.
